You'll find plenty of practical features built right into the Civic Sedan. Available heated power side mirrors make for better visibility when weather starts to get ugly, and they also fold to give you more wiggle room in a tight parking space.

The Sedan's restyled looks pair well with available sporty 16-inch alloy wheels. You'll look stylish whether you're pulling up to an elegant restaurant or picking the kids up from school.

The highly innovative Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure disperses frontal impact energy, increasing occupant protection. Additionally, the Civic's ACE frame design allows for collision compatibility between vehicles of different weights and sizes

Anti-lock brakes

For safe stopping, the Civic's 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) helps you maintain control under hard braking conditions, while Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) optimizes braking power based on weight distribution inside the vehicle.

The standard Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA®) system senses and corrects oversteer and understeer scenarios to enhance the Civic's handling and cornering stability, while Traction Control ensures grip in slippery conditions.

Child safety

The Civic comes equipped with Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) that offers secure child-seat restraint.

Innovative pedestrian safety features come standard on the Civic, including energy-absorbing hood and front fenders and breakaway wiper pivots.

Another of the Civic's many features designed to give you a more personal ride are the controls mounted on your steering wheel. Without taking your hand off the wheel, you can control music and radio through i-MID, set cruise control or answer phone calls with just a touch of a button. Sitting in the heart of the two-tier digital instrument panel, i-MID is like mission control for all your mission-critical functions. Upload a personal photo as wallpaper background. Browse songs in your handheld device's music library. Surf your favourite stations with XM® Satellite-equipped models. Access Bluetooth® HandsFreeLinkTM to make calls. Use it to get important driver-related info like fuel consumption, or turn-by-turn directions if you opt for the available navigation system.  Just think of i-MID as the ultimate app.

With the available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™, asking for directions is as easy as pushing a button. Thanks to voice-activated control and a prime location in the Civic's two-tier instrument panel, you can keep your eyes on the road where they belong. You can also get turn-by-turn directions displayed right on the i-MID screen so you know what's coming next.

To round out all of the Civic's audio capabilities, there's an available 160-watt audio system with 6 speakers. You'll be able to hear every nuance whether you're listening to music from your MP3 player through the USB device connector, the XM® Satellite Radio* or streaming it through Bluetooth® Audio. The i-MID has many advanced features, including Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink^TM for safer calling on the move. The system pairs easily with your compatible phone, and also supports Bluetooth Audio so you can stream your tunes as well.

ECON mode. Take fuel efficiency to the next level.

Press the ECON button and your Civic will automatically adjust the engine and other non-essential functions to go into super-efficient mode. It's a quick and easy way to maximize your fuel consumption and make being frugal fun.

Eco Assist™. Civic's little helper.

With the Eco Assist™ feature, driving efficiently becomes a lot like playing a game. The blue and green bars on either side of the speedometer let you keep your eye on how many kilometres you can get out of every litre of gas. Keep it on green and you'll go farther.

The Civic Sedan has the brawn to match the beauty of its outside looks. Tucked away under the hood is a powerful 1.8-litre, i-VTEC® engine with 4 cylinders, 16 valves and 140 horses. It's also primed for efficient rides with a fuel economy rating as low as 5 litres per 100 km on the highway. Technically speaking, it's a whole lot of fun.

Get a feel for the road in whichever way you see fit. Choose between the smooth-shifting 5-speed automatic transmission and the 5-speed manual transmission to personalize the way you get from A to B.

On top of the increased structural rigidity of the Sedan's new exterior, you also get Motion-Adaptive Electric Power-Assisted Rack-and-Pinion-Steering, MacPherson strut front suspension and multi-link double-wishbone rear suspension.
