One-touch power moonroof
Let the sunlight (and moonlight) in. At the simple push of a button, the available one-touch power moonroof will fully open or close. The tilt feature allows for controlled ventilation and the sliding shade lets you control the amount of light you want.

Real Time AWD™
(Intelligent Control System™)
For drivers who want the four-season confidence of all-wheel drive, the available Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System™ debuts on the 2012 CR-V. It helps to give you traction in low-grip driving conditions such as snow, rain and unpaved road surfaces, and provides a faster, more intuitive initial response when a loss of traction is detected.

Real Time AWD's operation is completely automatic, which means the system is always ready to transfer torque to the rear wheels, allowing you to keep your focus on driving. And the system can operate at all speeds, so when torque transfer to the rear wheels is not required, such as when cruising, it automatically lowers drive to the rear wheels for reduced drag.

Hill Start Assist
New in the 2012 CR-V, Hill Start Assist helps to prevent the vehicle from rolling backwards when on an incline. If you switch from the brake pedal to the accelerator while stopped on a hill, the system activates and halts the vehicle.



Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA®)
Vehicle Stability Assist with Traction Control senses and corrects oversteer and understeer scenarios to enhance handling and cornering stability, while Traction Control helps to ensure grip during acceleration on loose or slippery surfaces.

Advanced Safety
The CR-V comes with a wide range of class-leading safety features, including 6 airbags, Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure, whiplash mitigation front seat design and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).



Anti-lock brakes
For safe stopping, the 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) helps you maintain control under hard braking conditions, while Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) with Brake Assist helps to optimize braking power based on weight distribution inside the vehicle.

And because it's more lightweight than a conventional hydraulic pump power steering system, it contributes to the overall vehicle efficiency.

Turn-by-turn directions are displayed on the colour i-MID display and spoken over the audio system. And the 16 GB memory holds up to 10 million points of interest to make every trip an exciting one.

The available 7-speaker, 360-watt AM/FM/CD premium audio system with SiriusXM® Canada Satellite Radio kicks up any drive. Standard on all trim levels are the auxiliary input jack and USB port for plugging devices right into the system, as well as Bluetooth® Streaming Audio, which plays music from your compatible device wirelessly through the vehicle's audio system.
